Air Ease 18 seer heat pump

Just read a review where someone was having alot of trouble with their Air Ease heat pump. They didn't know if their problem was contrator or equipment related.. Let me interject a different perspective.
Last year I had to replace two heat pump systems at my home. I had been using Carrier but this time around my contractor, who is also a friend of the family, recommended Air Ease units. Turns out they are either made by or are a division of Lennox.
I went ahead and had him install 2 complete Air Ease 18 seer units and so far I couldn't be happier. This past winter these air ease units actually kept my house alittle warmer than my Carriers ever did. With the Carriers, if the outside temp. was in the mid to upper 20's, the warmest the house would get would be about 66 degrees...
Just for kicks, I set the Air Ease unit on one cold night to 72 degrees and to my surprise, it did it. Now it did take awhile, ran for about 45 minutes before reaching 72 but then again my house has 18 foot ceilings in part of the home and is wide open, and again, the Carriers never could satisfy that setting. In the summer, my house is cool and these units are as quiet as any i've heard.
Only had them a year and so far no problem. As for my electric bills, seems that I'm still paying about the same every month as I did before, however my "electric rates" have gone up in the past year, plus I'm keeping the house several degrees more comfortable then I did before also, so in reality I think it's safe to say these units use less energy.
