While i enjoyed how much cooler this single room AC unit cooled my bedroom during the day, I had to suffer through hot nights as it made too much noise and prevented me from sleeping.
The machine gives off a constant loud hum, and while it isn't very noticeable during the day time, it's all I can hear at night and it drives me up the wall.
Despite that major set back, this is a pretty good unit. It cools and pushes the air in a room very well, and cools my house down very much.
I'd consider putting things in say, the laundry room where its loud noise won't matter too much, and pick up a quieter one for you nice, calm, peaceful bedroom cooling needs.
