I bought this dehumidifier at Home Depot online a few weeks ago and put it in my basement (that occasionally floods).
While 65 pints is a large tank to fill, this machine did so with speed. Within 24 hours, it needed to be emptied. I was thrilled! This has cut down on my mold problem in the basement and has started to get rid of a stale, damp odor in the room.
The machine can be connected to a drainage hose that comes with the machine and is able to constantly dehumidify a room, if the hose is run somewhere where it can drain.
Although I have not used this feature as of yet, it seems that it could be extremely helpful someday. It has a light that lets you know when the tank is full so all you have to do is walk by daily and check.
This is highly convenient. It has 2 fan speeds and is a little over 50 pounds heavy. It's not exactly really easy to move, but it take a lot of water out of the air. Not only all this, but it's also Energy Star qualified!
I'd give this product a 9 out of 10.
