Blueair 203 Air Purifier

The Blueair 203 is probably one of the better investments I've bought. It's the perfect size, measuring only 17 inches wide and 21 inches tall. When I run this air filter, I can always tell that my air is much cleaner, and I've noticed that their is no longer dust on everything in the room.

Some of the pluses of this particular model are its size, the fact that it has a HEPA carbon activated filter, and that it only uses 50 watts. I do have a few negatives however.

First, the noise level indicated is only about 30 db. I've noticed that, especially when sleeping, it can be fairly noisy. But during the typical day you will never notice it. I've had several guests come to my home and remark that it was a lot quieter than theirs.

In addition, the price is quite high. After purchasing this model, I've seen some others online for much cheaper. If you have pets, this air filter does a great job at removing all the hair that can build up over time because of shedding.

My wife bought one for her office and it does a great job of keeping the air healthy. She has horrible allergies and has never had a problem because of this filter.

Overall, I am very happy with my purchase, and will continue to use this filter. I urge those looking for a filter to also calculate the total cost of ownership as sometimes extra filter costs do add up to an enormous sum.

Pros:
-Easy to use
-Great at removing allergens and dust

Cons:
-Cost
-Slightly noisy

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars
