We purchased this air conditioning unit seven years ago and have not been disappointed at all. Bryant makes a wonderful line of air conditioners. This model is Energy Star rated and includes a programmable thermostat and humidifier. We live in a hot, dry area and very much enjoy the cool air of our Bryant. In the years we have had our Bryant AC, we have annual check ups by the company that we purchased it from, a local AC/Heating team. We had one instance where we had a cooling problem, and it was due to a part that needed to be replaced. Once it was replaced, we were back to cool air.
I can't tell you what part needed replacing because I am not an AC expert, but I can tell you that I love my Bryant. The AC unit we had before was awful. Every year we had the AC team out, fixing, replacing and trying to keep the unit going.
It was a nightmare! I love that I can program the Bryant and have it take care of everything else. We are very green aware and conscious, and never run the AC under 80 degrees. For the Texas heat, that is pretty amazing. Our home is 1500 square feet and this unit cools perfectly.
I also like the humidity option since we are in a very dry area - no humidity. All in all, I would recommend Bryant AC's to everyone, but especially those who live in warm climates. We paid about $5,000 for ours, including installation.
Well worth the price and no problems.
