I have had this humidifier for three seasons (I use it in the winter) with zero issues. My wife is a HUGE Hello Kitty fan, so that is why we chose this particular style. We chose the cool mist style because we did not want our bedroom, where we run it at night, to feel like a sauna. We also have nine cats who like to sniff everything, and were worried if it was not a cool mist unit that they may get injured.

We love that it is so simple to use and so quiet. You can hardly hear it running at all and it requires no filters or maintenance really. You can run it for two nights while you sleep before you have to add more water. Its really easy to fill and clean, when needed. Its small, so it does not take up a lot of room. I will say that you will want to put a plate or tray under it when it is running though, as it does sweat and leave some water residue when in use--nothing major, but worth taking precautions.

I also would avoid leaving it in the sun, as the plastic color fades overtime and looks sort of funny. Overall I would highly recommend this humidifier to anyone, especially Hello Kitty fans. Its also worth mentioning that this brand has many other models that do the same thing but look different, so there is one for everyone out there. It also has a nightlight for kids. It is a little pricey, at $39.99, but I feel its worth it.

I would give it 4.5 stars out of 5, with the 0.5 star deduction for the price really.
Pros: cute, small, easy to operate, easy to care for, reliable, quiet, etc.
Cons: a bit pricey, not for everyone, all plastic construction, fades in sunlight.
