DeLonghi Pinguino Pac C100 Portable Air Conditioner

I have a DeLonghi air conditioner, the Pinguino Pac C100. Pros The air conditioner defintely works. It will keep your room nice and cool, and works pretty fast, too. I like how it comes with a remote control that is very useful when im in bed about to sleep, but don't want to get up to turn off the air conditioner.

The air conditioner also comes with a timer, which is pretty convenient as well. This allows for the air conditioner to be turned off in a specified time, or turned on in a specified time. The timer works in 30 minute intervals. I also like how the air conditioner fits in my room, and has a nice exhaust pipe that fits my window quite well.

The air conditioner also comes with quite a few options. It not only allows you to specify a temperature, but it allows you to specify how powerful the air conditioning is. It comes in three power modes, high medium and low. It also comes with an automatic option. Cons Although the air conditioner does work to keep you cool, it is incredibly loud.

When i try to sleep, and stay cool, it definitely keeps me awake. On the lowest setting, the noise is bearable, but then if you turn it on high, it is super loud. It is also annoying to have to open my window to keep the exhaust tube out. With the window out, i get the noise from outside as well as the air conditioner. I think that the noise is probably my biggest annoyance with the air conditioner.

The timer is also kind of a problem. It does not allow you to specify a specific time, like "Oh i want it to turn on in the after noon at 4:00," you have to choose in intervals of 30 minutes. This means, you have to time it correctly for the machine to turn on at the desired time.
