Eva-dry EH-500F Mini Dehumidifier

I purchased the Eva-Dry Mini Dehumidifier a while back at Sears. The first thing I always consider when making my purchases is the price. The dehumidifier cost me about forty dollars with taxes included which wasn’t bad at all.

The main feature that this dehumidifier has is the face that it’s very space saving. In my opinion, the more space I can save the better it is because I can save that space for something else. I choose to place my dehumidifier in my bathroom because I have a big problem with both the mustiness and mold that occur in my bathroom. Since there is a lot of moisture in my bathroom it gives way for mold to happen.

This dehumidifier is excellent for people who are extremely forgetful. I forget a lot when I have to stay on top of changing filters, oil, etc. The great thing about this humidifier is the fact that it indicates when its time to evaporate the moisture that has accumulated in the dehumidifier. It also a color coded indication that occurs as well. Blue means that the dehumidifier is dry and pink means that the dehumidifier is wet.

When I was purchasing the dehumidifier the sales associate really hooked me into buying this dehumidifier when he told me that it has disposable fragrances to make a room smell great. The smells of the disposable fragrances are Spring Rain and Fresh and Clean which smell wonderful. The dehumidifier is also lightweight weighing in at about 2 pounds which is great for those who dislike or unable to do heavy lifting. Overall, this is an excellent dehumidifier and for a price that you simply can’t beat. Another pro is the great fragrances that can enhance the smell of the room that you place this humidifier in.

However, the button to turn the dehumidifier on is very hard and my finger hurts after I try pushing it so hard sometimes. Another slight con of this dehumidifier is that there are better humidifiers out on the market than this one. For a cheap dehumidifier it works great; however, my mother has a more expensive one that she says works better.

I give this dehumidifier a rating of 4 out of 5 stars.
