This is a Built-In Thru-The-Wall model and is not suitable for window mounting.
Features include Auto Cool Function, Energy Save Function, and a Sleep Mode.
It has an Electronic Control panel with Full-Function Remote;Clean Air Filtration and Low Voltage Compensation as well many other features and functions.

Installation
This is a Built-In, Thru-The-Wall model and is not suitable for window mounting.Installation Instructions are very clearly written and give as much advice on good preparation and planning as well as the actual installation process.
The unit comes with a Universal Trim Window Mounting Kit, which contains all the necessary equipment, like sealant, support blocks, nuts etc., to ensure a well constructed unit.

Controls
- Airflow Direction The 4-Way Air Directional Control allow air to be directed up/down/left/right andis controlled manually by centre handles.
- Controls (Electronic) The unit can be operated by the electronic Touch Pad controls alone OR with the electronic Remote.

- ON/OFF BUTTON
- This is one of 6 buttons of the control panel and the only way to turn the unit on / off is to use this button
MODE BUTTON
There are 3 Modes that can be selected using the Mode Pad. They are cool mode / fan only mode / energy saver mode /- Cool Mode This is used to cool the air and is in conjunction with the 3 fan speeds and the thermometer.
- Energy Save Mode In this mode the fan will continue to run for 3 minutes after the compressor has switched off. The fan then cycles on for 2 minutes ever 10, until the temperature is above the set level, when the compressor switches back on.
- Fan Only Mode This mode is used when cooling is not required, but when stale air needs to be circulates.
Auto Cool/Auto Temp Labelled ‘Auto-Temp’ on the fan speed pad and ‘Auto Cool’ in the specifications; this is an option on the Fan Speed Button. Starting at high speed, the unit adjusts to a lower speed as the temperature is reached.
SLEEP BUTTON This option automatically causes the temperature to be gradually raised by 4° during the night. The increase in not noticed but costs are lowered.
TIMER BUTTON This feature can be used to delay the start/ stop time from up to 24 Hour On/Off Timer
CHECK FILTER BUTTON This feature lights a little light as a reminder to clean/check the filter. To reset- the button is pressed and the light goes out.
Temperature Display The temperature is displayed on a digital display face and up/down arrows are touched to increase/ decrease the temperature being selected. During selection, time and fan speeds are displayed on the same digital face for a few seconds – before reverting back to the set temperature.
NO Heating Capacity Some Heavy DutyWindow unit and some Built-In Thru-The Wall unit have a heating capacity – but not this model.
Care and Cleaning
In the User and Care Manual there is a useful section outlining the main point about Air Filter Cleaning, Cabinet Cleaning and Winter Storage.The Rigid Mesh Filter isWashable, with a Slide-out Filter Access to make cleaning easy.
The control panel has a useful Filter Check light you alert you to check the filter and a Filter Reset Button, one this has been done.
