It's getting close to that time of year again and you may be in the market for a new air conditioner.The one that I just purchased is a Friedrich WallMaster Model #WS16B30A.

I did not want to spend thousands on central air conditioning so I bought this model.It is reasonably priced and had 15800 BTU's which was enough to cool my house nicely.

Another important factor that made me buy this brand was that it was energy efficient.This brand is the most energy efficient solid-side Air Conditioner available.

It comes with a nice remote control as well if you are too lazy to get up and control it manually. It has a 24 hour programmable timer which is a cool feature, so it is not always on all the time. Why waste energy when you are not even home? Saving money is important these days.

It also has a very easy to clean filter and a three speed fan.Controls are very easy to understand right out of the box.The unit is very sturdy and well built and weighs in at 119 pounds. This unit does have accessories that can also be added if desired. There is a part called a sub base that can be used to hold the electrical cord, or as a base for the unit when it is mounted low in the wall. There is also an interior wall drain kit for WallMaster Thru-the-Wall units.

Bottom line on this air conditioner is that it is a very nice unit that can be mounted just about anywhere.It has a sleek looking design and will look great in any room of your house. I do recommend getting everything sized before you go out and buy any air conditioner.
