Frigidaire 50 pint dehumidifier

My husband and I bought this dehumidifier from best buy for 200 dollars, which is the same price that Wal-mart carries it for. We've been satisfied so far and because our house is so small this one was ideal and works well. I don't think that we will need to upgrade to a 70 pint dehumidifier model until we move into a larger home.
We have 2 small children, one who is 20 months old and the other who is only 4 months old and I wanted to be sure we cut down on airborne particles and moisture so the kids don't get sick. With the different diseases going around I know that you can't be too careful when it comes to your health and taking care of the air in your home. I wanted to buy a cheaper model but this one has been working well for the past few months and it looks like it will keep working well for at least the next year, barring any unforeseen accidents.
Since Frigidaire is a commonly known name and they sell many other popular products, I was sure it would be a good idea and my husband convinced me to spend the extra bit of money that would be a price difference on this model. We haven't noticed much of a change in our electricity bill and I attribute this to the dehumidifier meeting energy star rating energy consumption.
Pro: We live in Texas and recently there's been a lot of rain so this is great. It's fully eliminated that stick feeling that you get when you have weather like this, especially having a two year old and dog who like to track mud, among other things in and love to be soaking wet. I'm pretty sure that in the future in any home we live in that I'll be making sure that we have a good humidifier like this.
Con I would rate it 5/5 stars but it makes so much noise that we have it tucked away in a corner in a central area rather than in our living room and we would never put more than one in the house for use in the bedrooms and bathrooms because of the noise.
4/5 stars
