This air conditioner with a 6,000 BTU cooling capacity is a high performance unit. It is ideal for the small to medium sized room of just over 200 square feet or in a larger area where supplementary cooling is required.

It not only features electronic controls on the unit?s touch pad and itsful-function remote control but it also has the added convenience of mechanical rotary controls on the air vents, which are used to adjust the flow of the air, in eight directions.

All the foam and side panels necessary for a satisfactory installation come in the form of a fairly standard Pleated Quick-Mount Window Mounting Kit.

Selecting the sleep mode overnight is an effective way to stay cool while it is an efficient way to keep costs to a minimum. By choosing the sleep function the unit is programmed to raise the thermostat by just 2° after 30 minutes, and again, a further 2° after another 30 minutes.

The minimal increase in temperature of only 4° goes unnoticed, yet it proves to be an efficient, money-saving feature.

Controls and Popular Settings

CONTROLS

The unit is convenient to use, as it features Electronic Controls on the unit’s Touch Pad and Hand-Help Remote Control, as well as Mechanical Rotary Controls on the 8-way air directional vents.

The hand-held remote control is a boon when it comes to quietly adjusting the temperature or fan speed in the bedroom of a young, sleeping child, as you are far less likely to disturb them.

Similarly it is useful to be able to use the remote quickly to lower the fan speed so as to reduce any noise when watching TV, chatting on the telephone, lying in bed etc.

FAN

The Variable Speed Fan can be set from 10 to 99. It also has Three Main Modes from which to choose:- cool, energy saver and fan only, and the speed of each mode can be easily adjusted from the touchpad or remote controls.

The Cool Mode runs at the temperature that has been selected. The Energy Saving Mode is a function that cools to a pre-selected temperature, and then, when that temperature is reached, the built-in thermostat maintains it by continuously turning the unit on and then off.

The Fan Only Mode is used to circulate air in order to exhaust any stale air.

AIR FLOW

Using the mechanical rotary control to adjust the 8-Way Directional Air you can choose the direction of the air flow by BOTH rotating auger wheels (left/right) AND moving the swing louvers (up/down)

SLEEP MODE

Selecting the Sleep Mode on the control panel ensures a cool night’s rest with the added bonus of keeping costs lower, by means of being automatically pre-programmed.

TIMER

The unithas a 24 Hour Start/Stop - On/Off Timer, giving the option of a delayed start or programming the unit to start functioning at a time dictated by yourself.

DEHUMIDIFIER

The useful Dehumidifier Functionality controls the humidity in the room by helping to removeexcess moisture. Not only does this function improve the room comfort, but also help to improve energy efficiency. Moisture removal is about one and a half pints per hour.
