Frigidaire FAA065P7A 6,000 BTU MSII Air Conditioner with Electronic Controls

I’d say this air conditioner is one of the best in its class. It easily cools rooms of up to two hundred feet. Plus it is energy star rated, which will save you a good amount of money on your electric bill. Personally when shopping for air conditioners never go to cheap! ($80.00 to $120.00) In the long run they cost more and need more maintenance. I bought my Frigidaire at Sears. It was in the middle price range and cost two hundred dollars. I took it home and installed it with no problems. I let it sit for a few hours and turned it on. I immediately felt cool air blowing out of the unit.

It also comes with a remote control. This is can be very handy in certain situations! However, if you are picky about noise it is a little loud. Also after a few days of operating I noticed there are no holes in the condensation pan. So when it is especially hot you will be retaining about a half inch of water. This is a hassle and is my main problem with the unit. Nevertheless, I would buy this air conditioner again. For the price it is amazing. If you can deal with the sound and the lack of holes in the condensation pan you should have no problems with this air conditioning unit. If you like this price range and want a few more features I would also consider the Kenmore 76081 7,800-Btu air conditioner. Either one of these units would be a good investment.

Pros
- Cheap and energy efficient for the price

Cons
- Rather loud and no holes in the condensation pan

Rating 4 out of 5
