Frigidaire FAX052P7A Mini-Room Air Conditioner

This air conditioner, the Frigidaire FAX052P7A Mini-Room model, is a good product. I bought it on sale for $70, I believe it was 30% off. Its small size and weight means it fits nicely in a window frame without drilling anything into wall studs or worrying if it is going to fall onto the side walk 15 stories below.

It has eco-friendly settings, and based on my electric bills from this summer, uses much less electricity compared to the units of 10+ years ago. It has the ability to make a room very cold (60 degrees) but it does not have a very strong fan, which means it can sometimes take 15-20 minutes to cool a hot room. All in all, since I live in the Pacific Northwest, it works great for me. If you live in the South, I might recommend a more powerful unit.

Pros
- Coldest setting is very cold
- Relatively low power consumption

Cons
- It was somewhat expensive
- Can take a long time to cool a room sometimes

Rating
4 out of 5
