Installation
Instructions remind you that correct measuring and good preparation are important factors in a successful installation.The unit comes with an installation kit that provides adjustable mounting louvers and the usual set of instructions. It has been noted that the Haier instruction and diagrams are a little vague and not too user friendly – and some customers even found that some screws did not line up with some holes – which is a bit of a concern. Controls
Electronic controls are generally the preferred customer option rather than mechanical ones.The control pad on this unit is simply laid out with easy to identify icons linked to each control pad as well as written labels.
You will find the following features on the control pad:-
TEMP/TIME Thermostat:-
Using this the temperature can be adjusted up/down arrows ( ? ? ) from 61° to 86°. The electronic controls allow you to set the temperature the EXACT temperature desired.
POWER Pad:-
Normal On/Off control.
FAN SPEED Pad:-
There are 2 levels of fan speed:-High and Low. If there is a power outage the unit defaults back to ‘fan mode’ and not ‘cool fan’
MODE/Function Pad:-
This unit has 2 mode:- Cool and Fan Only. Both cool and fan mode can run at two fan speeds -High and Low
TIMER Pad:-
This can be programmed to switch On/Off up to 24 hours in advance.
Remote Control:-
You can operate the unit with the full-functional remote from a distance
Led Digital Display Face:-
There are 4 functions on this digital display face:- i)Temperature setting / ii)Timer setting / iii)Time remaining to stop setting / iv)Start to unit setting.
Airflow:-
The directional flow of the air can be adjusted using the 4-way airflow
