Haier CPRB07XC7 Portable Air Conditioner

My Haier air conditioner cools a room really well. My cats will attest to this. Before I bought the Haier, I had a swamp cooler that was impossible to keep full when I was out for extended periods of time. My cats would get overly heated and I really worried about their health. I like having the Haier much better so I know that my cats aren?t getting overheated. They like to lay right near it.

I also really like that the Haier is portable. It is so nice to be able to move a conditioner from room to room. However, it will not work in all rooms because the hose needs to be positioned so that the exhaust goes out a window and some windows are just too high to make this happen. If the hose does not fit out the window sufficiently, then the risk is run of having hot air blowing back into the room. I suppose that this might be the case with all portable air conditioners though.

The Haier works well with what it has to work with. If I could afford it, I would probably put permanent conditioners in every window in every room. The portable Haier is probably the next best thing.

I am bracing for another hot summer where I live. A few years ago, this would have made me cringe and worry. But knowing that I have the Haier, I feel so much better and know that, with just the effort it takes to move it from room to room, the cats and I will be able to stay cool. The Haier is a little pricey for a portable air conditioner.
