This air conditioner is a wonderful bedroom air conditioner. My bedroom is 9 x 12 and the output of cold air is great. My husband especially likes the remote control that accompanies it.
I usually set the temperature at 65 when I go to bed. He cranks it down to 59! when he comes in to go to sleep. Our room feels cool and the air is clean.
My husband has terrible allergies. It is necessary for the air to run at night so he is able to get a good night's sleep. With this air conditioner he does. It cost us about $129 at BJ's Wholesale club.
It was also very easy to install. We have standard windows but it comes with a little conversion kit to help it fit into almost any window. It has different fan speeds and the temperature range is great.
Like I said my husband cranks it down to 59! It is pretty quiet. Our old air conditioner would vibrate and the front would rattle.
This air conditioner creates a small humming noise that sis expected. I am really pleased with this purchase and highly reccommend it.
