Haier HWR08XC7

Haier HWR08XC7 Is an 8000 BTU window air conditioner unit. It has multiple settings for cool and fan. It works really well. I live in an 1100 sq ft apartment and this unit keeps my living room nice and cool.

The only downsides is it does tend to drip a decent amount of water out of the back so make sure it is angled down towards the outside and is very heavy. It does have a dehumidifier built in. There is a digital display and a remote control so you don't even have to get off of the couch to change the settings.

It can get a little loud and sometimes I have to turn the tv up a little higher to hear it, but it is worth the money. I would rate this unit a 4 on a scale of 1 to 5. It does have a built in filter to help keep some of the particles out of your home. The holes are not very small so I doubt that it really keeps much out.

Make sure you clean it on a regular basis or it can cause some issues. Also make sure it is not where kids can touch the back of it because the cooling fins do bend very easily just like with most air conditioners. We have had it for about 2 summers now and haven't had any real issues with it.

I have had some in the past that did not even last the whole summer. So all in all this is a good and affordable unit with not too much upkeep that will keep your home cool for the summer. Overall 4 out of 5.
