Installation

This window-mounted unit comes with a Quick-Snap" Curtain Install Kit that provide adjustable mounting lovers that fill any gaps between the unit and the window frame. Emphasis as always, is placed on the importance of preparation

The unit also comes with detailed instructions – although the layout and accompanying pencil sketch drawings are a little cluttered and not the most user-friendly.

However more than one customer has discovered it to be quite easy to install.

Controls

The touch pad controls on the unit and the full-function remote control can be used together to separately to control the power, speed, mode, temperature and timer on the unit. The only difference between the two sets of controls is that the touch pad on the unit has a series of lights and there is no digital display face on the remote.

Thermostat (ARROWS):-
Electronic temperature can be adjusted between 61°F and 86°F. Just touch up/down arrows ? and ? to alter temperature.

Digital Display:-
The digital display window shows the selected temperature. And when the time is being set, the display face switches briefly from displaying the temperature to showing the set time.

Speed (BUTTON):-
Use this to control the three fan speeds (HIGH/ MED / LOW) as well as the three cooling speeds.

Function / Mode (BUTTON):-
There are four modes or functions, which are selected by pressing the MODE pad. Once a selection has been made on the pad the speed selection can be made - LOW / MED / HIGH.

Timer (BUTTON):-
The timer can be used to pre-start or shut-off the unit for up to 24 hours in advance. The timer can be used in four modes / functions:- COOL / EVNERGY SAVE / DEHUMID / FAN. The time is set by pressing the ?and ? keys.

Indicator Lights:-
A series of indicator lights on the control pad indicate which mode and speed has been selected and whether the timer option has been selected. There is also an indicator light below the POWER ON/OFF pad to show if the unit is in use.

5-Way Airflow:-
The airflow direction can be altered by adjusting the louvers. Adjusting the vertical louvers will alter the horizontal airflow and adjusting the horizontal lovers will change the vertical airflow.

Remote Control:-
The full-function wireless remote has the same six pads as are on the main control pad:- POWER ON/OFF :MODE : SPEED : TIMER –:TEMP/TIME? : TEMP TIME ? and an be used to control the unit at a distance.
