Hampton Bay 44 In. (Hawkins model # YG204-TB) ceiling fan was a great buy. I bought and installed this ceiling fan about six months ago. The fan is a beautiful design but the light fixture on it does make it a little low.
I have 10ft ceilings and if it weren’t over the table a lot of guests would bump into it. It was amazingly easy to install.
The Accu-arm system that they designed makes the installation such a breeze. I was worried I would not be able to hold the fan up while I connected the wires but due to this design it was able to hang in place while I wired it.
I have only installed one other ceiling fan before and I was able to have this one done in half the time it took me to install the other one.
The wiring was easy as well; you only had to clip two plastic pieces together instead of twisting them with and electrical cap. The light is not real strong which works well in my dining room but I would not like it in a main room.
I have been very happy with this ceiling fan and would recommend it to anyone who doesn’t need a lot of light but likes and good amount of wind.
