I have had this humidifier for about two months and a half now and during the time that I have had it, I have come to really enjoyed it. Not only is it compact and quiet but it also provides an array of features and great moisture in my bedroom and a very affordable price.
The Honeywell HCM-630 uses filters that catch the dust and pollen in the air. In addition, they also catch help to reduce the amount of mold, mineral buildup and bacteria growth. The filter that I have used has almost lasted three months now, however they are quiet expensive at thirteen dollars each. I am not sure that this is a very affordable price for a filter which is why I recommend using this humidifier for seasonal use as opposed to year round use.
This humidifier is relatively cheap and is extremely compact. It fits nicely on my nightstand and does not create enough noise to keep me awake at night. Also, the base is dishwasher safe which makes it very easy to clean. On the other hand, the small amount of water that this humidifier is able to hold in addition to the expensive filters that need to replaced every few months make it not as efficient as it could be. The shape of the humidifier is also a little bit awkward and has a slightly imbalanced shape to it.
However, the few drawbacks that this product has are easily masked by the assets that this product provides. I am able to sleep easier at night now and the inexpensive cost of the humidifier kept more money in my wallet. I am not sure that I am willing to use this Honeywell humidifier year round though, due to the high filter costs. I am surely going to use it during the spring when the air tends to be very dry.
I highly recommend this product and give it four out of five stars overall.
