Holmes Mini Tower with a HEPA filter HAP412BN-U

I got this air purifier at target for a pretty good sale price (around $30) and I’ve definitely gotten my money’s worth out of it. I like this purifier because it’s small and compact so it’s easy to put in even the most commonly used room without taking up too much space. In fact, you can barely see ours because it’s under a table against a wall.

Seeing as it’s so small, it only works for rooms that are around 100 sq. feet, but since they’re not that expensive, it is completely plausible to have more than one in a large room. The purifier is also pretty easy to clean which is nice, because some can be extremely hard to take apart when you’re cleaning dust out of them.

The purifier I bought at target came with one replace filter and the instructions included in the packaging are very easy to understand. My is black, which is good because it is easier to hide in dark spaces that way, but it also shows dust and dirt a lot more than the gray or white colors that Holmes makes. My air purifier has to be cleaned a little more than I would assume that the other colors would need to be.

As far as pros and cons go, I think with this type of air purifier, it will completely depend on the person. For me, the pros are that the purifier is small and compact, and that it can sometimes run a little loud when you have the ionizer on. I can’t really relax without the noise of a fan, so I enjoy having that running fan sound.

However, I could see why this would be considered a con for other people who don’t enjoy that noise. I also could understand it being small as a con if someone wanted to use it in a larger space. However, if you live in a smaller home or you live in an apartment, then this would be a great choice for you!
