I have a Honeywell 2 Gallon Cool Moisture Humidifier. The model number is HCM-890. Where I live the air is very dry which leads to dry skin. I was using moisture constantly throughout the year to avoid dry skin. But I realized that the dryness is hurting the wooden furniture also.

That was when I decided to get a humidifier. The choice was to get a warm one or a cold one. I chose a cold one because I will need it in summers also and a warm humidifier will not be that good in summers. Honeywell 2 Gallon Cool Moisture Humidifier was a good choice. It has two working levels, high and low. The filter is mold, fungus, algae and bacteria resistant.

The humidifier has been designed well. Not only is it good looking but also easy to carry and clean. Once filled the humidifier works for about 12 hours and thus you do not have to fill it again and again. It can run for the whole night. It is sufficient for a medium sized room. It automatically balances the output to the moisture requirement of the room. Another good thing about this humidifier is that it does not make much noise while running.

The humidifier has been very useful to me. Since I have got it, I have not suffered the problem of dry skin nor do I have to worry about my wooden furniture and show-pieces. It is also not very expensive so I can easily afford it.

Two Pros- 1. It comes with a 5 years warranty which is longer than most of other humidifiers at the same price. 2. It has got automatic moisture balance system.

Two Cons- 1. It is too big in size compared to the air that it humidifies. 2. Filter has to be changed more often than I would like too.
