Honeywell Enviracaire 50250-N air purifier

I am using supplies clean air without affecting the environment and guarding my family members till date. My solid air purifier looks pretty good and is working fine without any fault for the past two years. My air purifier is round and it pulls in air from all the sides. It has many features within it. The most important feature is the HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Absorbing) filter. The HEPA is perfectly designed and it captures the dust, smoke, allergy materials and other unwanted pollutants. This filter doesn’t need replacement throughout the whole life period of air purifier. HEPA needs to be cleaned at regular intervals.

Further no maintenance is needed. HEPA comes with a carbon filter which stops the larger particles and irritating odors from outside. The carbon filter has to be replaced once in a while. But it doesn’t cost so much. My air purifier contains a filter change indicator light. It alerts me to change the filter whenever necessary. It operates in three different speeds. The first two speeds make some noise. The last one operates quietly. My air purifier is best suitable for small rooms only.

It works efficiently and removes the odors. It makes my room pleasant and provides good sound sleep at night. From the date I bought my beautiful air purifier, me and my whole family is enjoying a healthy life without any sort of diseases. It is providing great support to me, and it can be operated with ease. It has a well-built body and it works in a reliable manner.

My air purifier is offering a great performance and an enjoyable atmosphere in all means. I bought this air purifier at a cheaper rate according to my financial situation. I think my air purifier is the best one I have ever seen and I am really happy to have this in my sweet home.

Pros
- The permanent HEPA filter is the strength to my air purifier. It gives clean air and provides a healthy life. Cons While working it makes some noise.
- Power consumption to work is somewhat high.

Not recommended to anyone with severe allergies
by: Anonymous

My fiance has terrible spring allergies. They got so bad this year that we had to shell out the money to get an air purifier to remove some of the pollen and dust from the air in the house. We don't have a lot of money, so we couldn't drop the 300 dollars or more than some air filters go for. We ended up deciding on the Honeywell Enviracaire 50250-N, which we found on sale for $166.99. The low price was it's biggest drawing point, and in the end, turned out to be one of it's few high spots.

The Honeywell Enviracaire 50250-N is a very small, sleek air purifyier. This was good for us, because we live in a small apartment. The device fits easily on a shelf or in a corner, and even sitting on the coffee table in the middle of the room, it wasn't too invasive. In a very small room, it did a good job of filtering out pollen and dust. My fiance can sit comfortably in the living room without choking and gasping.

However, there are a lot of cons to this little machine. First off, it's insanely loud. You wouldn't expect something roughly the size of a honey ham to sound like a chainsaw, but boy does this thing put out some noise. The bigger issue here though is that it really only works over a very small space- if my fiance gets off the couch and walks 10 feet to the book case, he's suddenly awash in pollen again. The Honeywell Enviracaire 50250-N is good if you need to purify the air in your bathroom, and it's alright for the money. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who has severe allergies- spend the extra money on something more powerful.

This air purifier works wonderfully!
by: Anonymous

Pros
- Does a great job at filtering
- Reasonably quiet at lowest speed setting

Cons
- Annoying to have to change and clean filters
- Noisy at higher speed settings

Recently we moved to a new and slightly larger house. Our previous Honeywell air purifier model had worked for us well in the past, helping to lessen the effects of pollen and allergies for my family, but now we needed more because of the extra space in our house. I decided to order one of the Honeywell 50250, as our previous model of Honeywell purifier had been discontinued by now. (It has lasted us for over three years now. Hopefully these new purifiers will last that long as well). Boy am I glad that I did!

This air purifier works wonderfully! While a bit on the noisy side at the high speed settings, it still works well even on the lowest speed. And the noise level is much lower at that setting. It makes an even, low tone that is easy to tune out after about 30 seconds. It also introduces a nice breeze into the room.

While it is annoying sometimes to have to replace the filters, it's worth it when I see all the dust and gunk from the air that they've been filtering out and keeping us from breathing. The filter replacements will occasionally go on sale at the local stores, so I try to stock up at those times.

I was breathing fresh clean air for the first time in the four years
by: Anonymous

I purchased a this air purifier when my new born girl was born to help clean our home of allergens including pet dander. I actually purchased 4 because we have a very large home. After running the purifier for about 24 hours I was impressed by a notable improvement in air quality. It felt like I was breathing fresh clean air for the first time in the four years I lived in my house. I was also impressed by the visible decrease of dust and foreign particles in the air. I could always see all kinds of stuff floating in the air when looking at the sun shining through the windows. To my amazement this had all but disappeared.

There where a few things I was not happy about though. First was the price but I get what you pay for. This model is actually extremely loud, especially compared with the virtual silent ion based models. But my logic is how can they really clean your air if they don't move it? This model is also very large so if you have small rooms or limited space, this may not be the model for you.

Cheap, small, works great!
by: Anonymous

Pros:
-small
-isn't expensive but works great

Cons:
-makes a lot of noise
-small coverage area of only about 390 square feet

I have the Honeywell Enviracaire 50250-N. It cleans the air well, and works good for allergies. It was easy to set up. The filter can be cleaned and re-used.

Since buying it my house even smells better. Also my husband is a smoker and smokes in our basement and i have put one down there and it does a great job of filtering the cigarette smoke. It is very large and takes up a lot of space.
