Honeywell HHT-011 Tabletop Air Purifier

The Honeywell tabletop air purifier was undoubtedly a great purchase. It cost me about fifty dollars with taxes included which wasn’t expensive at all for the quality. The air purifier weighs seven pounds which is great because I am unable to lift anything heavier than 15 pounds.

There were a few things I disliked about this air purifier one of them being that, it’s very noisy and distracting when it’s on the high setting. Secondly when the ions that clean the air come out they have a very unpleasant smelling odor. The other great feature of this air purifier is that I can either choose to use it horizontally or vertically.

I normally use it vertically in order to have more space on my table for other things. It’s really easy to forget when you have to change the filter on things without a reminder. The Honeywell air purifier has an indicator that tells you when to change the filter so you can use it without any worries.

After getting this air filter I also noticed that my allergies weren’t as bad anymore. I have been suffering from allergies for the longest and this air filter changed that. After purchasing the air filter I definitely noticed a difference in the room where my dog stays the majority of the time. Prior to having placed the air filter in the dog’s room I used to constantly sneeze. I also couldn’t stay in that room very long which wasn’t pleasant. If I wanted to spend quality time with my dog I had to take him out of the room and play with him in a room where he doesn’t spend a lot of time.

Overall, this is a great air filter for the price I paid for; it’s definitely a great value. I also like the fact that it tells you when to change the air filter because I’m a very busy person that doesn’t have changing an air filter at the top of my list. However, the fact that it’s noisy and the unpleasant odor it lets out when its releasing the ions, are what stop me from giving this air filter five out of five stars. 4 out of 5 stars.

This air purifier has helped us tremendously

I bought the Honeywell Air Purifier several months ago after I noticed an increase in my son’s and my own allergies. Both of us are sensitive not only to pollen and outdoor allergens, but also to molds and spores that seem all too common in old houses such as ours. This air purifier has helped us tremendously. Since it is small, I actually purchased 2 of them. This was still so much cheaper than buying one large system. I placed on in each of our bedrooms and our allergies have been much improved since. I do not wake up stuffy every day anymore!

There is a three stage system under which the filter operates and this has proven to me to be more effective than other systems. The filters are also reusable, which saves us money, and who doesn’t like that? The system is also easy to clean and is quiet. Some of the systems I looked at while considering purchasing this one were so loud that I doubted if I would ever be able to sleep with them running. This one makes only a very faint humming noise that I am so used to I barely hear anymore!

My Honeywell air purifier is an excellent device. I purchased the purifier for use over the summer. It basically was purchase for my grandchildren two of which suffer from asthmatic attacks. My wife and I wanted to make sure that their visit was enjoyable and “drama free.” Drama free meaning that my wife and I wouldn’t have to make that dreadful call to their parents, or make an unexpected trip to some emergency room.

I know the device made a difference and help reduce dreadful particles in the air. With the monsoon season just starting in Arizona, there are many harmful particles blowing through the wind that could easily blow into the house on a moment’s notice. The purifier works fine, but it would be great if it would cover more square footage and came in a variety of other colors. It certainly achieved its purpose. It was a very cost effect tool for a potential health problem. The Permanent HEPA Filter makes this purifier even more of a bargain. As a consumer I find that many of the small appliances that are purchased today require maintenance, or replacement of some part. This purifier is perfect, in that the filter is permanent and doesn’t require endless trip to the store for replacement.

The Honeywell purifier is truly very compact and we were able to store it conveniently and safely for the grandchildren’s next visit.

not worth it

My family has been using this model for a little while. It's average for its price of $60. Our son has asthma and it seems to have really made a huge difference in the air in our house. He still does need an inhaler from time to time when he is running around, we dont know if that is from the air purifier not working properly or it is just his asthma symptoms....

Anyways the purifier is decent, it needs to be cleaned quite frequently though and im not sure it was worth it for the time we put in it and for its price. On the plus side it hasnt had any manufactuer problems yet the motor has been running well, it never broke down or anything of that sort though it seems to run fairly almost 24/7 it runs. We keep it in our basement where my son sleeps, it was very musty but seems to helped it out.

I dont know if we would go with this product again though maybe we might put more money into a more expensive one. I just dont feel it got rid of the musty smell in the basement the way it should have.

This air purifier has been a dream!

This air purifier has been a dream! I have allergies, so I've been using air purifiers for some time, though I've often been disappointed. Some don't clean the air thoroughly enough and some simply don't work at all! Combine that with the cost of replacing filters and it just becomes a frustrating experience.

The last time I went shopping for an air purifier, I decided to look at the Honeywell brand. I've only heard good things about them online, so I was interested to give it a try. When I found the Honeywell HHT-011 Compact Air Purifier and found it had a *permanent* HEPA filter, I was sold. Maybe I was mostly excited at the thought of not having to replace filters, but once it arrived and I had a chance to use it, I was in love. If there's one thing to be said for it, it's that this air purifier is QUIET. I can keep it running in my bedroom all night and I can forget it's even there.

Its design is very small and compact, so it's not a giant eyesore, either! The only time I want to notice an air purifier in a room is when I'm enjoying clean air, not seeing or hearing anything else. I'm already thinking about buying a second one of these to handle the rest of the house, and I've been recommending it to all of my friends. Even the ones blessed enough to not have allergies love what my air purifier can do. This little Honeywell has really done the trick for me. I'm glad I bought it!
