Hunter Low Profile III 20807 Ceiling Fan

by ella
(CANADA)

I bought this with the intention of cutting energy costs in the home. I figured it would work to better distribute warm air during cool weather, and cool air in the summer- plus creating a nice breeze! I thought that even if it was uncomfortably warm that having some moving air would be better than nothing.

The costs so far have been about the same, but that is because this was a purchase in the past year, so I am still recouping the cost of the fan itself. I expect it to have paid for itself in the first 14 months of owning it.

I liked this fan mainly because of the good warranty and price. What it looked like was a distant second, I have to admit. I have to say I do not have any interior decorating experience and I don't have any idea if I have good taste or not. For what it's worth I've gotten compliments on it since it is very streamlined and doesn't take over the ceiling.

My favorite thing about it is the remote control, even though it didn't come with batteries- really irritating when you have just dropped a fair amount of money on a new appliance! I found our old fan annoying (even before it stopped working) because it operated off a wall switch. This one is way more convenient.

Like it a lot.
