Ionic Pro Compact Ionic Air Purifier

I received this air purifier from my sister-in-law. Someone had given it to her and she didn't want it. I really didn't expect it to work since it was given away, but when I plugged it in the light came on, making it appear that it worked.

I took out the grates inside and wiped them down so I could see if it REALLY worked, or if it was just the light coming on. Amazingly, after running it for a day and checking the grates inside again, it was nasty! The grates were covered with a black film, so I wiped them back off, replaced them, and turned it on again.

This machine has consistently gotten dust and gunk out of the air in our home. Although it is small and probably is only getting particles out of the room it is placed in, it certainly does the job! I've noticed that if I place it in my bedroom at night I don't wake up sneezing the next morning. Although I cannot visually see a difference in the air, I can see the results on the grates.

The unit is small and quiet. It is virtually unnoticeable, very discreet. Nobody knows you have it or that its running unless you tell them.

I researched getting a newer, larger one of these ionic purifiers and was astonished at the price. I cannot believe someone gave this one away!

Although the price is steep, I know it will be well worth it to get another one of these, especially during pollen season.
