I keep my dehumidifier running all summer long since I live by the ocean and humidity in my basement tends to be quite high when the heat is not on.

This is the 4th unit I have bought in 11 years and the first from LG.

I like the look of the unit, black and inconspicuous, I also like the fact that it has options to run every 2 or every 4 hours rather than 24/7 that way it requires less emptying.

Also I like the fact that I can set the humidity in the room and can put it on high or low.

The things I do not likw about the unit are: it is much noisier than other units I have had, when you empty the bucket, the tools are in a bad place and tend to fall into the sink and finally, the bucket does not have a good spout and tends to splash around.

Even with those negatives I would highly recomend the LG unit for its look, and efficiency
