LG LWA5EW1DF1, Window Air Conditioner

I have recently bought a LG?s air conditioner of 1.5 tonne capacity which is a window air conditioner. The shop I bought it from sent people from LG to fix the AC in a small window right next to my bed. It has one year warranty which has still not expired and there was a prompt response when I faced a problem with the filter of the AC because of lots of dust that was coming in the room.

It has an anti bacteria filter and also the energy saver feature. You can adjust the flow of air and direct it in four directions. There are 3 different speed adjustments for the fan. It also leaves a pleasant smell in the room because of its deodorizing feature. It is claimed that it has an anti-bacteria filter to decrease harmful bacteria in the air. The remote is easy of use even in your sleep because of night glow buttons and you can easily reduce the AC when it gets cooler in the night. Since, electricity cuts are frequent in my area its auto restart feature comes in very handy.

LG has a good customer support system and before the summer season come you can get LG service center to send people to clean the AC for a certain price. Its cooling is very effective though it takes some time for the entire room to become cold. However, if you sleep right next to the AC, there is an instant flow of cool air. My electricity bills have been lesser than those which were coming with my previous AC. Therefore, its electricity consumption is not high.

The only problem I have faced is that it makes some noise which you need to get used to. I would advice you to clean the filter frequently because it catches a lot of dust. Overall, I would recommend this AC for people who are looking for a window AC with an effective cooling.
