Oreck ProShield AIR12B Air Purifier

I have two dogs and sticky icky plants growing in my closet. I could smell my house from a block away. Seriously it was that stinky, until the day I bought Oreck ProSheild Air Purifier. This was an investment at a whooping three hundred and fifty bucks!

The ProShield features Truman Cell, which is a permanent filter that only needs to be rinsed off once in a while, never replaced. Once plugged the Oreck rocks. She comes with three settings, high for super cleaning, medium for normal clean and low for super quiet.

The first thing I notice was how quiet Oreck runs. I sleep like a baby with it on, even on the high setting. My whole house had a new car smell within 3 hours of being first turned on. Oreck claims the ProShield can clean a twelve by eighteen foot room twice in one hour. Energy use is also minimal, about the same as an ordinary non-energy efficient light bulb (60 watts is my guess).

The only bad quality about the Oreck ProShield is the price. At over three hundred dollars, ProShield cost a pretty penny. A small note I don’t think it’s very fashionable.

My favorite features include virus, mold, and allergens removal. The three year warranty also makes me very happy. Oreck also throws in a thirty day free trial, even pay the shipping! The price tag is a tad too large, but ProShield cleans very well.
