Oreck XL professional air purifier

We have owned two Oreck XL professional air purifiers for about 3 years now. They capture and destroy bacteria. The Oreck XL came with an optional charcoal filter. If your house hasa tendency to be dusty, this product will help keep the dust level to a minimum at a very low cost. The filtration system is easily cleaned with a common household cleaner and warm water. No other filter is needed for your Oreck XL professional air purifier.

There is also an ionizer function on this unit to help clean the air in your home or office. Also, a fragrance cartridge that fits into the unit discreetly is readily available. The unit also informs you when cleaning is necessary. We have a son with asthma and seasonal allergies. After installing the air purifier, we noticed a definite lessening in his allergy symptoms and in the severity of his asthma.

We also have dogs and cats. In our experience, this system has cut down dramatically on the amount of animal dust in our home. The Oreck Professional Air Purifier is compact, quiet, and unobtrusive. I am proud to say that I own this product it has improved the quality of the air in our home dramatically. I would never consider buying a different product since I have owned the Oreck XL professional air purifier.

In my opinion this product should be rated as a 4.5.

The only drawbacks would be the initial cost of the unit and the need to purchase additional charcoal filters, if desired.

The best features of this product are its quiet function and that it is easily cleaned.

If you are considering buying an Oreck XL professional air purifier I would highly recommend that you buy this product because the positives highly outweigh the negatives.
