Surround Air S1000-Ultra Air Purifier With a Ti02 Filter

This air purifer boasts a three-filter system with uv and ion features. It can be used tabletop, countertop or on the floor. It stands about 1 1/2 ft. high and 1 ft. wide. It blends in with the decor in just about all of my rooms. The uv feature adds a higher level of purity to the air, killing bacteria and virus germs with a rating 99.9%. The three-filter system is charcoal-based and cleans the air of allergens, smoke and even carpet fumes. Two of the filters will need to be replaced every 3 or 4 months and the permanent filter can be washed and re-used.

The Surround-Air purifier has three fan modes and a 2, 4 and 8 hour timer. By using the timers and fan modes it saves electricity. This model can exchange the air in a 300 sq ft room in less than an hour. I researched several clean air machines trying to determine which one was best for removing the pollutants from indoor air. This was going to be its most important job. Secondary, was the filter system and then cost. Many air filters for air cleaners are very expensive. The price tag can be anywhere from $50 to $2500 easily. This model cost around $159. I also wanted to make sure that the viral germs and bacteria would be cleansed from the rooms along with other fumes and toxins I learned of during research.

I feel with this Surround-Air Ultra air purifier, I was able to accomplish my goals and stay within my budget without sacrificing quality or looks. When we leave the house, I set the timer on the air machine and know when we come home all the tobacco, cooking odors and kitty smells will be gone.
