Usha - old but gold !!!

The best ceiling fan that I have in my home is the one which is 15 years old. The brand name of the ceiling fan is Usha. I have changed my other fans but this one has never had a problem.
It still is functioning properly and has no trouble at all. While all the new fans that I have purchased needs repair all the time.
As the proverb says 'Old is Gold' can be rightly applied for my fan. I have changed my other Usha fans so that I could buy a stylish new one, but now I regret for the same since the fans that I have replaced is in fact worse.
The color has gone; it often has some problem or the other and is very frequently sent for repair.
The quality that fans had few years back is not seen in most recent fans. It is the same with many other appliances.
New fans are available in many styles and colors but they work for only a year after that they stop functioning and would require continuing repair.
So I would like to recommend you not to change your old fan with a new one if it is functioning properly.
