Vicks v9130 HEPA Air Purifier

I have a Vicks air purifier model number v9130. I have had it for about 2 years now and I really like it. The model is attractive looking, not very big, about the size of a large stereo system. It is white in color, and has the Vicks logo on the top by the vents where the air comes out.

This model has served me well. I live in a house that has a mold problem and I have very bad allergies. This purifier does a great job of cleansing the air in my entire room (11x13). My allergies are always less bothersome in my room than in any other area of the house.

It is very easy to clean. The front panel easily pops off and the screen cleans well and only takes about 2-3 minutes to clean. You can really see the difference that having the purifier makes when you look at the screen!

The model is pretty compact, as previously mentioned, so it doesn't take up that much room and looks okay with the rest of the home decor, it doesn't necessarily look like an "appliance" so I really like the look of it as compared to other purifiers I have seen. The price was very affordable as well. I bought mine form an outlet store, but I only paid $30.00 for it when the original suggested price was over $50.00.

The unit has four different speeds, as well as an ionizer opition which I love. When on it's highest setting it can be a bit loud, but I can still watch television at reasonable sound levels and not be bothered by it. The lower settings also seem to be very effective, and quieter.

Overall, I really like this model. It is a good brand name, sells at an affordable price, has many options, and works well.
