Whirlpool AD35USS

by James
(United States)

I have purchased the dehumidifier, the Whirlpool AD35USS almost 3 months ago in order to help with the air quality in the basement of our home. It cost us less than $200 and it was a great investment.

Since we’ve recently converted the basement to a mini-bar / game room of sorts, complete with leather sofa and pool table, the moisture really needed to be controlled – hence some sort of dehumidifier was necessary.

After shopping around, reading some reviews online and talking with friends and family (some of whom recommended this very model), we decided to go with this one and it has worked wonders so far! It is super quiet, lightweight and has really improved the air quality in the basement and reduced the amount of moisture in the air.

It features 2 fan speeds, an adjustable Humidistat, the AccuDry Sensing System and a 35 pint bucket; or it can even be hooked up using the direct drain connection and you’ll never have to empty the water bucket again!

It also helps to control the musty smells in the basement, and this model is Energy Star certified, so you know you’re getting the absolute best quality available from Whirlpool.
