My Zenith room air conditioner is one of the best I have purchased. I use it in the bedroom and it is very quiet. The room will quickly cool off when I turn it on no matter how hot it is outside. I also like the remote that comes with it so that if I wake up in the middle of the night and it is too cold, I don't have to wake up and get out of bed to shut it off. Being a light sleeper this is a great plus to me.

I can also program this air conditioner to come on at a certain time and to go off at a certain time if I so choose. The conditioner fits in my window very easily and is attractive on the inside and the outside. The cost of this conditioner was also very reasonable. It is lightweight and I don't worry about it falling out of my very old mobile home window. There is a manual that gives very easy to read instructions for operating the conditioner and it also had a very good troubleshooting section.

Cleaning and maintenance is easy also. The filter can be removed and cleaned easily. The cost to run the air conditioner is not a lot either. I noticed no increase in my electric bill. Some additional features are that you can adjust the air flow direction left, right, straight or any combination of the directions. If the conditioner runs too much in the humid weather there is a drain plug that can be removed to get rid of any extra water that accumulates and can not be blown out on its own.

While this conditioner would not and should not be run by a small child, it is easiest enough to understand the features that it could be.
